The Bench Talk blogs are back and open for business!  And now you can either read them each week, or choose to listen as the author reads them to you.  It’s part of the new and improved Cynthia Darwin, Storyteller website.

The Bench Talk blogs began in 2020 after Cynthia published the novel “Darla The Roller Derby Queen”, a story that follows the heroine Darla as a young derby star through successes and failures. She finds her role in life by inspiring those who sat with her on park benches everywhere.

Each Bench Talk blog is inspired by a unique park bench.   Look around.  You never really notice benches, but they are everywhere you go.  And the people who rest a while there, or wait for someone, or do some just people watching have so many stories to tell.  Likewise, the Storyteller has a tale or opinion to share for each bench photo she posts.

I invite you to subscribe and receive weekly inspirations, opinions on current events or quick stories.  In addition to unique bench photos, quippy blogs and ponderings, each quarter you’ll receive a link to a newly created Storyteller short story.
